Getting Started Overview

The Peace of Mind system integrates security, climate, lighting, video and irrigation to make your house safer and easier to manage, with remote access for monitoring and control.

The Peace of Mind sample system includes the following primary components:

• The HomeBrick, which includes the Core Module software and the Computer Viewer
• The System Enclosure and the Network Assembly for a clean installation with a robust home network
• Five system tabs: Security, Climate, Lighting, Video and Irrigation

The Peace of Mind sample solution relies on the home network to integrate the house's compatible security, climate, lighting and video systems. At the heart of the complete solution lies the HomeBrick, mounted safely inside the System Enclosure in the basement, and including the Network Assembly for a complete home network with shared Internet access.

The HomeLogic interface is accessed primarily via the Computer Viewer, included as part of the HomeBrick. With the Computer Viewer, anyone at a computer in the house, or at any Internet enabled computer, can access and control the HomeLogic system.

Parts list for the Peace of Mind sample system:

1	HomeBrick	The foundation for the HomeLogic system, including the Core Module and the Computer Viewer, which provides an interface from any computer inside the house or over the Internet

2	System Enclosure	The enclosure to properly install the HomeBrick

3	Security Tab	Integrate and provides an interface for the compatible security system

4	Climate Tab	Integrate and provides an interface for the compatible climate system

5	Lighting Tab	Integrate and provides an interface for the compatible lighting system

6	Video Tab	Integrate and provides an interface for the compatible video cameras

7	Irrigation Tab	Integrate and provides an interface for the compatible irrigation system
