Having determined
that a OneHome solution is right for you,
what's next?
HomeLogic has a team of Certified Dealers to help you through the process. With
you Dealer, you will work through the typical process of selecting, installing
and then being trained on your OneHome system. |
|
|
 |
|
| Step 1: Selection
and Planning |
 |
 |
Before
construction begins, you explore various options with your
architect, builder and Dealer, and then decide what to
install in your home.
Given this information, your Dealer
works with you to determine where keypads and other components
are needed, and then manages the project with your other
contractors to ensure that the cabling runs are appropriate
and will work properly with the proposed systems. |
 |
|
| Step 2: Wiring
and Initial Installation |
 |
 |
Once
you have decided what systems you want and where to place
keypads and other components, construction proceeds and
wires and keypads are installed.
Most Dealers suggest a
walk-through before the insulation and walls go up so you
can confirm where speakers, switches, keypads and outlets
are going to be installed while there is still time to
make a change. |
 |
|
| Step 3: Final
Installation and Training |
 |
 |
Once
all keypad, switch and outlet locations are confirmed,
insulation and walls go up and the finish work begins.
The speakers, keypads, touch screens and other components
are installed, including the components in the "head-end" or
central closet, if one is included.
Once the systems are
installed, and the contractors move out of your newly finished
(or renovated) home, the time has come for you to see your
new system in action and learn how to use it day-to-day.
Your
Dealer will work with you to get you started on the system,
and then work with you for the initial start-up period
to ensure any adjustments are made to accomodate your wishes
as you learn about the system and identify changes you
would like made. |
 |
|
| Step 4: Follow
Up |
 |
 |
| After
you have had a chance to live with your system for a while,
your Dealer will follow up with you to work through any
new ideas you have, or any changes that you would like
to make to your system. |
